Minor 1000 VKJ 923H history?

Hi All
I have recently purchased this car. Sadly it came with no history bar a few old MOTs and a copy of a heritage certificate. The chap I bought it from had owned it for about 6 years and barely driven it. He told me that the previous owner had spent a lot of money restoring it but had no documentary proof. Does anyone know this car or have any history for it? It has an old owners club sticker in the window so I presume it has attended meets in the past.
