After buying the moggy a few months ago i have spent quite a bit of time on ebay as im sure some of you do

i have been looking for a parcel shelf that goes under the dash but one has never come up hmmm is it going to be a rare part?

Hi, and i'm also having fun with trying to find the right shelf !
All i would advise before ordering, is to be sure which shelf will fit your minor, series, year etc,
I have learned that the front bar is different width's depending on series and the depth of the shelf varies between early and later cars.
I think i know which one i need at last and i'm going to take the chance and order it, as for the metal front bar, my minor didn't come with one when i bought it so i can only hope the only available one is the one i need !
As already said they're cheap enough from all of the Morris Minor parts shops and i've had so many bad experiences of cheap stuff off ebay over the years to put me off forever !!
If you go to Charles Ware's website, under the interior trim section is a diagram of all the different types of shelves and hopefully you'll be able to work out the one you need, good luck

I made one out of thick cardboard. Took me quite a lot of time and is harder than it looks so I'd recommend buying one. Newton Commercial are the ones who make them I think so they should have the variant specific to your car.

As far as I am aware the only parcel shelves available are the later full depth black ones, similarly the padded cross bar to which they fit.
I think that you may be disappointed if you want the early shelf and cross bar
But I could be wrong
