problems with brakes on my van

can any one help when i put the brake on the first time the pedel goes right to the floor when i press the pedel a second time i ve then got a brake i ve checked for leaks but there is nt any could the problern be the master cylinder ? thanks ian

More likely the brakes need adjusting! And then perhaps bleeding! Have you tried that? Did this suddenly happen - or has it steadily been getting worse ??

I had a new master cylinder and that created the same problems the seals are rubbish
