Headlight settings diagram

Hello,

Please can anybody help with a diagram of how to set the headlights? I have seen some pictures for other vehicles of using a wall to set correct height etc for low and high beam. Has anyone got the same for a moggy van?

Just fitted new headlights. Discovered - eventually too - that wire between switch and foot dip switch has intermittent drain/earth. One to check if you get unknown fault that you can't find. Ran new wire and fixed it easily once worked it out (thanks to some help).

Just shine the lights on a wall ~ 30 ft in front of the car. The main beam 'spots' should be slightly below the height of the headlamp centre on the car - and basically straight ahead/slightly to the left - NOT to the right...

I will give it a try once it is all back together - found some strange wiring from the previous owners to remedy.

Then I have to move my sons 2 door moggy so I can back up enough on the drive................
