MADMOG branch rally

Hi,
I've just attended my first branch rally and found it to be an excellent day out, helped by the fact that the weather behaved itself and didn't reduce the venue to a muddy quagmire!
Anyway, thanks to those who organised it and I thought I'd post up a few pics.

(Shame I didn't shut up long enough to smile for the camera!!

[/frame] A good turnout, which included a few that you don't see so much of these days, like an Ital, Marinas, a Morris Isis saloon, and a Standard Six....[frame]

[/frame][frame]
[/frame] Ray's lovely Singer Chamios[frame]

[/frame] Morris 8 Series E, I believe.....[frame]
[/frame] Morris Isis saloon, I've seen the estate twice at the National but how many of either left on the road??[frame]

[/frame] The lovely Standard 6, I've never seen one in the flesh before, I bet there's not many of these left on the road either....[frame]

[/frame] (Note the MG, they get in everywhere, don't they!
)[frame]
[/frame] The venue for the event was Rufford Abbey country park, well worth a visit in itself.[frame]

[/frame] Complete with Archaeological dig in progress, wonder if we lost anyone down the hole........? Bring back Time Team!!
All in all, a great day out!!
I shall leave it to someone more qualified to tell you about the concours and who won it.
Once again thanks MADMOG.
Best wishes,
Mike.
