Club Membership and forum
I wonder could someone please explain what advantage club membership has as far as the members section of this forum is concerned?I can't see any difference if I log in or not? Please excuse me if I'm missing something fundamental.

Very true Roy.My point though,is there an advantage to this?
Re: Club Membership and forum
Bit pointless then eh?
Re: Club Membership and forum
Depends what 'secrets' are discussed in the 'Members' section' I suppose.........

Re: Club Membership and forum
Secrets?Do members have secrets?Well, secrets they would disclose in the members section?Very intriguing!
Re: Club Membership and forum
Ah - but the MMOC reserved section appears to be only for ONE Member -" the Member's section ". I had generously assumed all members would be invited, hence my incorrect use of 'Members' section'

Re: Club Membership and forum
Now I feel inferior! So there ae members and MEMBERS????
Re: Club Membership and forum
I would seriously just chill out. Having been a member for a few years,I have never accessed the members only site. why would I ? Become a member, and receive one of the best classic car magazines. If you don't have a mog,buy one. Get a tent, and take you and the mog for a good weekend somewhere. Take some beers, drive yer Mog,with all it's imperfections, that's what make it's fun. No politics within this club. Classic cars are fun. Whoopee !

Re: Club Membership and forum
Well I'm sure a tent would be a good way of chilling out in England.I am a member.I have 2 mogs.I have accessed the "members only" section many times,in fact I have just done so mainly to see what if any differences there were between that and the public section.I can't see any.Which takes me back to my original header.
Re: Club Membership and forum
The difference is that you get access to discussions regarding 'club business' such as minutes from liaison meetings, club accounts etc and can also put forward constructive ideas and suggestions for the club. The plan is to expand the amount of information contained within the members only forum but the website upgrade has been delayed due to problems with the company who were due to undertake this work.
