Wiring diagram

I have a 1971 Morris Minor Traveller with alternator. I have a short somewhere and fuses keep blowing. I am thinking about rewiring the whole car. I have a workshop manual but the wiring diagrams seem to be for earlier models. Is there somewhere I could obtain a relevant wiring diagram for this model. The chassis number is MAW5D/1290630F

See the simple diagram by Barry at head of this section - and another for the alternator. Which fuse blows? And does it do so 'randomly' - or only when you use (say) the wipers?? A complete re-wire is huge overkill for a simple fuse problem.......

I have recently drawn a vector diagram of the car, I could send it you? Mines a 65 saloon with alternator.

FWIW, page N.46 of the BMC manual has the factory wiring diagram for the alternator.
