Greasing

On the assumption no question is a stupid question...................I'm greasing the nipples for the first time since owning the car, how do I know when I've put enough in ?
Look for clean grease coming out of the seal.
If grease come out from where the gun goes on the nipple it isn't going into the joint. You may need to aim the gun better, push harder or maybe put some cotton fabric between them to get a better seal.
