Conversion To Alternator (2nd Time Around ) 1960

With the 1960 Four Door Saloon, neatly at present with a new wiring loom (off the shelf with the relay for flashing rear brake lights as indicators ), but we didn't order up an alternator fitted loom, so understand there are some adjustments to be made ( my old Club magazine which detailed the conversion is somewhere in the flat, probably in the least accesible location, so questions of the day are- from the sticky diagram.
1) Ensure the battery is fitted -ve earth and remember to supply a sticky label somewhere to reminder to self and others.
2) Ensure battery clamps are correct size to fit over battery terminals/ Fish in the spare box for correct coloured terminal wires.
Q3) Do I need to reverse the wires conected to coil (CB and SW?)?
4) Realise that the crimp on terminals in electrical spares box are too large for the alternator, remember to find correct sized ones.
5) Removing F and D wires control box to now non existant dynamo straight forward, but can any of these act as the 'new wires' otherwise these will be taped up- alternative to run the bare ends into terminal block and connect where- I dont want to short-circuit things
Q6)New Cable Battery +Ve (off Solonid- to +Ve on Alternator rear) Any particulary colouring to use, and wire thickness- last time was white but I have a nice orange/yellow wire that looks good)
Q7)New Cable- IND (-ve of alternator)to IGN lamp. Again, size and colour preferences, I assume black as effectively this is the alternator earthing via the lamp- does this mean I now expect the IGN lamp to be permanently lit when IGN SW on? (thats what happen before, but is not the situation in current modern clio or older chevette?
