1957 4 door minor 1000 value ?

hey,

i have been looking at a 1957 4 door morris minor saloon in black and i wanted some advice on what it is worth?
the following have been done
all new interior (looks like new)
new clutch
new st/steel exhaust
5 new tyres
radio and speakers fitted
originally restored 8 years ago but been very well looked after
948 cc engine
work done by the owners son who ones his own restoration bussiness
only 3 owners
electric washers
new wiring loom
used on a regular basis
starts on the button with no bad smoke from exhaust
engine sounds very good

bad points
speedo dose not work
small mark on roof lining
a couple small chips on paint

I would be pleased if you could advise me of value and anything else I should check , I have a 1964 morris 1000 already and are familiar with the problem areas for rot but unsure on the earlier models.

As ever with a Minor - underbody condition is absolutely everything. Have you looked under? Lifted the carpets - and the rear seat base? And inside the boot... ? Without pictures it's hard to say - but probably £2.5 to £3 K. Make sure it comes with a NEW MOT - even though it doesn't need one.....
