just go to poundland...
buy the complete blades and take out the
inserts ...cut to size and fit to your arms..
i've been doing this for years on all my
motors. cheap and works a treat

At least you are only risking a Pound! If they do 21/22" ones - you may even get two blades for that Pound!

raid the bins at your local friendly car workshop-- or the street bins outside halfords. I have gotten about 12 up to 22in lengths of usable rubber.
But
looks like the latest wipers I have fitted on Dad's 1098 were/are a touch too long, they wear/bash against the window rubber, I cannot trim back any less, the grippers are on the lowest (some of my wipers had arm length adjustments), setting, its probable my current wipers came off one of my older cars-not that I think of any that had same lengths as a minor. Main culprit seems to be wear in the part that goes on the spindle, on the rivet, the area has opened up and the effective wobble makes the arm act a little too long, causing more wear. The rivet head can be remade if you have one of those concave punches.
