voltege Reguletor - what happen

hi today when i start the car i see the Amper meeter not showing battery charging - then i check connection and dynamor them was fine work- and clean contact of reguletor , at this morment the ignition light on and brite when i speed the engin , - i dont know i try and try after that it work ( the Amper meeter begin to work ) then i take my multimeeter and put + and - of battery then speed engine it show 13 v - My problem why the geguleror struk like this it was 2nd time , 1 st time when i clean armature adjusting screw it work fine but this time also ? what happen ?- now it work but , will it struk ? What is the problem ?and where ?
- when i check the reguletor i notice this -
1 . If i screw the armature adjusting screw clock wise i multimeeter stop reading only 12v -then i unscrew it then it work

It should read near enough 13.8 volts when it's set correctly - at good engine revs of course!

Yes - my problem is why struck the out put voltage - Some time output voltage work Some time not ( when i start the car) - I did this 2 days within two week - some time if i clean the point of armature adjusting screw it work again

Can only suggest the contacts need a good cleaning Sandun....unless there are loose connections.
