looks like a few things missing from the engine bay like airfilter
any thoughts on this

Looks nice. The ad says 'original paint work will need some work' but there is over spray on the dampers suggesting it isn't all original. But then for a 65 year old car maybe you wouldn't expect it to be!

engine bay may have been hand painted - it's got an odd finish.
The car looks like it may have been resprayed, which itself isn' an issue, but makes me dubious about the seller.

There's a massive lack of any proper description in the ad so without a good viewing / thorough inspection I'd assume theres a LOT of work needed. With a close inspection you may find it's not that bad..

This isn't the first offering of this particular car. Looks to be another "seller" though - I remember the "MMM" registration which, earlier, was made out to be a selling point!

It was for sale on ebay a couple of years go.
Strange position for accelerator cable stop
I wonder what the throttle return spring is connected to with missing air filter
