heater hose routing

hi my 1955 series 2 has a heater hose connected to the bottom of the radiator , is there any advantage to connecting it to the bottom rad hose as per the latter cars ? i already have the bottom hose with a take off fitted

Hi I wouldn't have thought it matters, hot from the top cold into the bottom. Some my have different opinions of course.
If it works ok then its fine. :D

Our 1958 has the same routing and works fine.

Bottom hose connection works fine on Jethro and he also has a blanked off lower radiator connection point. :D
