How far back can I search

Just tried looking on the "cars for sale" as I want to check a car that was advertised a few months ago.For some reason there is only a single page of items?Checked other areas of the forum and can go back yonks.This section only around a month.Is it just me?

I believe this was introduced when they upgraded the section to a classified format for I remember noticing this at the time.

The 'auto prune' facility for that forum is set at 45 days, and most people wanting to make enquiries about a car for sale would usually have made them within this timeframe. What do you want to 'check'?
The only person with the ability to change the auto-prune is site admin so I'll flag your message up to him for consideration.

Main reason is I have been offered a car that was advertised on here about 3 months ago.I wanted to compare that owners description with the present owners'.
