nice supprise lack of rust

i had a nice supprise today removed the sill step covers from newly aquired 1955 4 door to discover the n/s is 95 % original only 2 patches on front floor and o/s has had similar + front under floor section , all chassi original , only repairs found are to front inner wings bottom of door pilars and boot floor all neatly gas welded , it just needs a good clean and paint underneath , result

the old series 2 cars are suprisingly solid, i have a two door which is very original
