Here is a Wade money box I purchased not so long ago. A special edition item produced for the September 2006 Wade fair, held in Dunstable, England.[frame]Image[/frame]

A pottery model I purchased a few years ago from a car-boot. There is no stamp on the model so I am unsure of the make. If anyone knows the make, please let me know :)[frame]Image[/frame]

Here is a teapot made by Leyburn & Keswick. In the mid 90's Leyburn & Keswick offered a teapot in the Teachest Series with a Morris Minor decoration on it. It was made to look like a dinky toy on top of its box. The MM on top came in a variety of colours. I had never seen one of these so when it came up on Ebay, I purchased it for my collection. It is a highly desirable piece.[frame]Image[/frame]

Hi Dan,

Sounds like an interesting collection you have. My Minor models just comprise a gold-plated Corgi 1:42 scale saloon, a Spot-On 1:42 saloon made in Northern Ireland, a Vanguards 1:42 Traveller, and miniature 1:76 (model railway scale) die-cast Travellers made by Springside models and SA Skale Autos/Hornby, a 1:76 scale British Rail van plus a Morris Traveller tin-plate sign.

Alas, I have a real Traveller guzzling most of my spare time and cash! :roll:

Hi there, thanks :) I didn't have much time to upload many photos last night. More will come today. I like to collect rare, unusual models like the Lesney teapot etc.. in my collection I would say I have about 200-300 models. Post a picture of you MM, I would love to see it!
Many thanks, Dan

Hi Dan,

A collection of 200-300 pieces is going some! :o

Here's my 1970 Traveller;
Image

In Trafalgar Blue, now with 154,000 miles on the clock, it has its original wood, an MG Midget 1275cc engine and matching close-ratio gearbox, hydraulic clutch conversion, LP917 4.5J van wheels, Ford Sierra/Escort ventilated front disc brakes, telescopic dampers, alternator, electronic ignition and fuel pump conversion, unleaded head, Smiths gauges for oil pressure, water temperature and inlet manifold vacuum, intermittent wiper delay module, stereo, and a few other tweaks.

Mind you, I still have the original 1098cc engine, gearbox, front drum brakes, lever arm dampers, etc., so I could revert it to standard if I wanted...

Hi Dan, welcome!

I got my first minor when I was 15 and also started collecting minor stuff. Ive lots of models, handbooks, china, pictures and all sorts and in fact most of it is in boxes in the loft since I moved a few years back. This is probably one of my best items, border fines art split screen traveller that i think is called 'a day in the country'[frame]Image[/frame]
and another of a pick up called 'to the taup sale'[frame]Image[/frame]
I bought this lowlight teapot when I was about 16, made by carlton ware[frame]Image[/frame]

Good luck with your collection, there is plenty of minor collectibles still around!
