'Look at Life: Living with Cars 1964'....on YouTube

Just came across this short old Rank documentary from the 60's on Youtube, have a look, its crammed with loads of old footage of cars on the road in the 60's. A few moggies in there but also all the lovely old cars from that time. I'm loyal to the old Moggy sure, but If I didn't have the Moggy I'd happily have any of these other old popular classics!! The Humber Snipe or Vauxhall Cresta PA are favourites of mine.
Such a shame they all got crushed/melted down!
And if you're really interested then watch one called 'Look at life: Down in the dumps 1965' (also by Rank) which shows how they used to recycle old cars by burning them out first. Literally setting them alight to get rid of all the old wood etc to just leave the metal for melting.....do that these days and we'd all choke to death on the toxic plastic fumes!!
Going to show both to my kids so they can see the era that 'Dad's old banger' came from!!
