Is this rust terminal and do I need new chrome, or can I get rid of surface rust? If so, what with?[frame]Image[/frame]

And if I need a new rim, anyone know the part name/number and where's best to get it from? Can't see these mentioned in Club Spares.

I would try some chrome polish first something like autosol that have a slight abrasive. Even T cut works well on chrome if you have some, but make sure to give it a coat of polish after to help seal it.

Heres a link to the bit you need from ESM

Thank you! Both sides are getting worse so I'll try your suggestion.

You call that rust? If it gets bad enough Brasso and wire wool will shift it

Rubbing it with aluminium foil may also work to get it shiny again.

Hi,
Autosol and elbow grease usually does the trick. Modern chrome replacements will be just as bad after a couple of years, so unless it gets really rough, save your money.
Best wishes,
Mike.
