Hi
I have seen a 1950's split screen Minor for sale but it has no heater fitted, I think these were an optional extra. Does anyone know if they difficult to source and fit?
All the best,
Tim

That depends on whether it is a Series MM or Series II.

Plenty of circular fug stirrer heaters around at the Nat. Rally. You may need to fit a tap and change the bottom hose. See Workshop Manual Sect. SS

No need to change the bottom hose. The right side of the radiator has a plug that can be replaced with a hose fitting. That's how it was done until early in the 1000's. As mentioned there will be a plate on the back of the cylinder head that would be replaced by a tap. All this assuming you are still original or at least an A series engine.
