Does anyone make a kit to convert a MM back to the original low-light vesion (or could i just bolt on the low-light wings)? as I need new wings anyway I'd far rather put it back the way it was.

And who SELLS MM WINGS ANYWAY ?

CHEERS ALL

I don't think you can buy them new. They fetch a fair price too at autojumbles.

Best bet is to contact club spares (number in Minor Matters). You will also need the lowlight grille which is different from the other versions.

I understood that they aren't available new & have to be created by reshaping Minor 1000 wings - which would require serious metal working skills. Sometimes it may make more sense to repair the originals. Of course many series MM cars built after 1950 had the highlight wings from new (including all 4-doors and every MM exported to America).

Hi,
I asked the same question on Minor Mania, and was contacted by Jonathon of JLH Minors - he is now doing them in high quality fibreglass, and will follow this up with a front panel and then a complete flip front - check wanted ad in www.minormania.com for contact numbers.

Cheers

Pete
