Carby Question

Does anyone else notice that the choke does not return fully home, after pushing the choke in? This definitely does it on the 803, 948 carbies.
The torsion spring seems to work ok (could have stretched over time I guess).

Can also be a bent jet assembly that is causing friction when returning and thus jamming. I have had that before now.

It is essential on the earlier Carbs to carry out the centreing of the
jet assembly. If you lift the piston with your finger and it does not
fall with a soft plop when it hits the bottom but DOES do so if you
have pulled the choke right out then the needle is rubbing on the
jet and needs re centreing
