Ref ASL642's comment - this is very true and if we had a LIKE button (as on facebook), I would have pressed it rather than reply.
He's still around cause he requested Barnsley photos off me on Monday.

I have been in business for 35 years.
Communication is the first priority.
In the beginning of my business adventure my wife would say.." have you rung that gentleman about his work" " I will ring him tomorrow "...." NO ring him now" she would tell me.
If you cannot fit in a job, you do not want to do the job, the job has problems, you are ill, materials do not arrive on time, you need more money to finish a job.......tell the customer straight away.
Many people I knew in business who are no longer trading , fell fowl of customers because they ignored them thinking the problems would go away...they just get worse.

Thanks guys - still here!

Shut for a couple of weeks to move house etc. Now playing catch up...
Currently on about 4 weeks backlog on panel orders (unless its common items) will get that back down in a week or so.
Frank, your bits are done - on the way
Eddie - have emailed you.
Sadly it is just me doing the work - not managed to find a tin basher in the area who wants a job yet, or even a secretary come to that.

I'd come and work for you Iain if I lived closer and would love to help out.
Problem is my tin bashing skills are about just that and I don't have the legs to be a secretary anymore (or the other bits

).
Keep at it, at least you have a full order book.

Good to hear you are still trading and all is well.
It's not easy to keep up with customer demand when you are so busy!

And moving house is always a hellish/stressful time! Keep up the good work Iain - I have never seen anything 'rude' about any of the advice you have offered on this forum.. Folks need to learn a bit of patience......
