Hi has anybody had a go at blanking the rear arches off like on some classics so you only see half of the wheel think it would be pretty cool but dunno how you would do it really and id buy some more rear arches so i could put it back to standard
Thanks
Chris

Why would you want to do this?? It would make the rear wheels more difficult to access and trap mud, encouraging rust.
If you do install these, make sure they are easily removable.

Personally - I think this would look dreadful! But as above - you could I suppose fit removable 'spats' which is how it was done on the XK 120 etc....but it's certainly not something I would want to be seen driving! Each to their own I suppose..... I suggest you fake it up with a bit of cardboard first - to see how bad it looks.......

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". It would not appeal to me, but if YOU want to do it to YOUR car, then it is YOUR choice. I suggest that you leave the standard wings as they are, and fabricate additional panels to fill the space. These would have to be clipped into place and be removable to gain access for changing the wheel etc. The suggestion of a cardboard mockup to try it out is a good one. If you do go ahead, then I would be interested in the result - I might revise my opinion.

I'm sure there have been posts on here before about that - and if you google Morris minor wheel spats you'll see several examples. Some definitely look better than others

It's all right saying 'it's your car do what you want' that may be ok for the interior but don't forget, outside others have to look at it !!
