My latest little project!

Post by tomtom »

As I drive my moggy daily I decided to put some modern more comfortable seats in. It was a tough decision as I didn't want to change the look of the interior I like it original  I had a look around and some brand new ones for the morris are £400 EACH! I know a few people have used ford ka seats as they are fairly easy to fit so thats what I decided to do. I had a look into getting them re covered in blue vinyl to match the interior which was also expensive! (as you can see I don't like spending money   ) I popped over to the scrap yard and they had two leather front seats so I took them home and they began their transformation! I purchased a leather colour change/repair kit.... So for about £100 quid and some elbow grease.. Here are the results!! For all you other daily drivers what modifications are worth doing?? Does look like the interior of a mid '80s B Series ERF!
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Looks great mate well done!Miles more comfy than the mog ones too.Whose recolouring kit did you buy?I've used the Woolies one a few times but presently using the Scuffmaster system in my Wolseley 4/44.I bought a set of Ka leather seats in black(red at present) but still deciding whether to colour them red or change my interior trim to black.
