Hello all from sunny Essex. This is MOG who we have just bought today. First MM we have owned although we also have 6 original Mini's & a 1967 Anglia.
Looking forward to reading & joining in on a few posts.

1954 Series 2: 4 door: "Sally" -- Back on the ground with (slave) wheels, now being sprayed by me, slowly......
1970 Triumph Herald 1200: "Hetty" -- Driven back from Llangollen in Wales (twice.....)
1952 Morris Minor MM highlight with sidevalve engine still fitted, wants work, so joins the queue for now......

Oh yes, OFF with the peaks!!!
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

With the bonnet flash it is more likely an early Series 2.

It is has a 1098cc fitted and is from 1953.

So it definetly seems to be a Series 2 rather than an MM sidevalve.
