I require a wiring diagram for a1961 loom. (Blinking side and brake lights)

The sticky seems to bear little resemblance and the wiring looks different to the original 1960.

Also any idea of what should be clipped in where underneath and in engine bay?

Have you tried the workshop manual? There's a few different wiring diagrams in there...

All the wiring diagrams are basically the same, see the workshop manual, they use the same colours and the same part identification, if you do not have the basic knowledge of electricity and how to follow wiring diagrams you could end up with an expensive malfunction. Get some help.

I have a diagram I can email you. PM me with your email and I will send it.

The 61 Minor has a relay to operate the indicators/brake lights which requires special wiring. If your wires are all black it could prove tricky.

I know the basic function is all the same but there are 3 different variants, mainly on indicators and starter/ ignition. I have a very advanced knowledge of electrical work (re-wiring and fault finding trains daily) but it is nice to have correct diagrams to work to.

You'll easily be able to make up your own relay pack to operate the brake and indicator lights ! Not sure I understand about 're-wiring trains'.....my trains don't have any electricity??

Must be a nuisance when it gets dark.

The problem with fault-finding the electrics of a vehicle that's over 50 years old is, the wiring's probably been b*gg*r*d around so much that it hardly resembles any factory drawing. Add to that black wires sheathed in something that must have had some recognisable colour to it back in t' day, Joe Lucas's workmanship and 50+ years of corrosion and, well...you can tell what kind of day I've had in the garage!

Alex Holden came up with a diagram for a module to perform the duties of the old Lucas DB10 that utilised the brake lamps as indicators:

beware the little bulb in the trafficator switch bleeding current through the opposing bank of relays, that one caught me out for a bit.
