1954 2dr, NOT a convertable!!
Going by the body number.
Check the body number again - one digit makes all the difference.

"C" says convertible unless someone has been swapping plates. Check number etched on bulkhead

Mmm.....
Was it sold to you as a "genuine" convertable?
Have you looked for the stamped chassis number - either high 2xxxxx
or low 3xxxxx - as suggested by Mike?
What's the engine number?

The chassis and body numbers on my May 1955 saloon are both a few hundred higher than these numbers.

Yes, body number is that of a 4/55 2dr.
NOT 1954!!
Need to be vigilant when buying Convertibles.
