Summers here!

As the old saying goes 'One swallow does not make a summer' but this afternoon have seen several flying in and out of the old barn/workshop checking out their old nests. This bodes well for the summer as they do not usually arrive until around the 23rd of April here in the Test Valley.
The cuckoo cannot be far behind as they usually arrive with in 3 days of each other.
The Mayfly must be about to hatch as that is what the swallows come to the Test Valley to feed on. So roll on Duffers Week
The first single swallow was spotted leaving the old barn/workshop very early on the morning of the 3rd April so I suspect that it had arrived sometime on the 2nd April.
Has anyone had any other earlier sightings?
Explanatory note: Duffers Week is when the Mayfly are so thick and the Trout so lazy any old duffer can catch a trout.
