My MM lowlight doesn't have any mirrors on it. What kind of mirrors should I put on? Door mirrors or wing mirrors?

That is entirely up to you. Wing mirrors look better on high light wings than lowlight wings and although I prefer wing mirrors, on a lowlight I would probably settle for door mirrors. Another point to note is that wing mirrors act as useful markers and help avoid the gatepost dents. Wherever you decide to put them make sure that you fit convex not flat glass mirrors

Convex gives a wider reflection, concave reflects inwards.
Think of a spoon.
Of course,I don't mean fit 2 spoons to your lowlight!

Mine is also without rear view mirrors, but because the camera on my Prius is working perfect, I think about a camera in the license plate holder and no mirrors on the outside ;)

Camera and screen in a classic car? I won't even have a radio in it. I prefer the mirrors ..although a camera and a screen would be neat.

Why fit exterior mirrors, just make sure you do a shoulder check before any change of direction - in fact this should be the norm whether mirrors fitted or not.

You know, I always did this when I was driving my good old Triumph Herald. Although I had wing mirrors I used to do a shoulder check and for some reason I loved it.
I'll take your advice and I will not place mirrors. I hope they will accept it when I take it for MOT.

There is no requirement for outside mirrors unless you are towing, it is an estate car or a van or truck.
If there are no external mirrors then you must have an internal rear view mirror.
Modern legislation probably overrules previous legislation but is not retrospective

I have wing mirrors on my lowlight, the passenger one isnt much use for actually seeing behind you but it does show you were the corner is as with the low wing its not so obvious![frame]

Shoulder check?
Shouldn't your face be pointing ahead whilst driving?
Fit decent mirrors.

I can't believe that you've made that comment. How often do vehicles get 'lost' in your blind spot even with the best mirrors. A shoulder check should be used every time you make a change of direction - just as you must do on a bike.
Just hope I'm not overtaking you when you decide to pull out without a check. Mind you, this practise is commonplace with folk merging onto motorways etc. What is meant to be a give way is now seen as a right to continue without proper checks, expecting the driver on the major road to move over to let them in. This is ok-ish 90% of the time, but on occasion there is no room to move over, and then what happens.

Should know what's in-front,behind, alongside you at ALL
times, not just before you about to pull out!
I'm in the minority, yet again!

I agree with this.
