Rear Bonnets!

I remember some years ago, riding in an early 30's Alvis special which used a Minor bonnet as its tail. It blended into the bodywork perfectly, the bulkhead end of the bonnet fitting behind the 2 seats, the sides neatly covering the dumb irons and the rounded centre portion giving a pointed tail effect. I was really impressed with it but the owner told me it was quite common to use the Minor bonnet in special building and he knew of 'loads'. Anybody else seen one like this, or got a photo?

I know someone who used a Citroen DS19 bonnet as the main component of the rear bodywork on a 1930s Railton special so I can see the idea with the Minor bonnet. I would guess the problem is that the shape is so recognisable that folk will say"Oh look a Morris Minor bonnet!"
For that same reason, the Citroen bonnet was removed and replaced with shaped aluminium over an ash frame about 15 years ago....
