I know that you want free ads but try the classifies in Old Glory http://www.oldglory.co.uk
You may have to pay but you will get a bigger customer base and possibly a better price.

Try also classic tractor magazine. Private ads are free. http://www.classictractormagazine.co.uk

Best of luck with the sale and by the way what is the classic plant you want to sell?

Classic Car Buyer is weekly newspaper(like Classic Car Weekly)but usually has a large section devoted to that sort of item and its free advertising.
