Refurbishing leaf springs

Can someone please suggest where I can find instructions on how to correctly refurbish springs?

Should they be taken apart and greased, for example? If so, what grease? Or are they better left dry?

This is for a very thorough Traveller restoration, so I will be making them look pretty too.

Cheers
Don

This is an excellent guide that I found a little while back. Bare-metalling and PTFE (or similar) paint seems like the most sensible way to pull off an effective overhaul with long term durability. My concern was how to re-fabricate the rebound clips, which are the little one-use tabs on my later car.
