Hello everyone....I am getting married on 1st August this year :D
I have fantastic memories as a child going to the seaside in our Moggie and getting lots of sand in the grooves on the seats! So, it makes perfect sense for us to have a Morris Minor as our wedding car. We're getting married near Ashbourne in Derbyshire and was wondering if anyone knows of anyone who might be able to help us in our quest to find a Moggie to take me to the church??? thank you so much for reading my post, I'm looking forward to hearing from you - thanks again, I really appreciate it!

If they are booked you could always try the MMOC East Midlands branch Contact Brian Fletcher 01773 eight32522

The branch may have a member who does weddings.

Great choice of wedding car and all the best for your happy day.

I do weddings in my convertible pictured below, we are free on the 1st Aug, but Derbyshire is quite a way to go. Dibble the convertible and I do weddings in Kent, London, Essex and Sussex.

Good luck in getting a local car, if you don't, send me a PM and well see what we can do!

Hello, I have been a wedding chauffeur for many years but stopped taking bookings a couple of years ago as I wanted to sell my Bentley. I have now bought a Morris Minor Traveller which is a very sensible move for retirement and for running around with grandchildren BUT I do miss the weddings! I am free on Friday 1st August this year and would love to drive for you but do understand if you would prefer to look for a Tourer. I am semi-retired and a chauffeur for the Mayor of East Staffs Borough Council based in Burton. I live in Uttoxeter and have done many weddings in your area.

Laura went to Church by Morris Minor yesterday and on to a reception in the fabulous setting of Osmaston Park. Bertie behaved impeccably and it was great fun. Thanks to the forum and good luck to the happy couple.
Regards
John
