Any idea how to get rid of 5 alloy wheels and tyres? From a 1998 5 stud Renault Laguna failed to sell in eBay, thanks, John

I had the same problem, with tyres, local authority dump lets me get rid of one set(5) by pre arrangement but thats it for life, then have to pay.Didn't have to take the tryes off would take the wheel as wel.l But by chance, found that my local tyre depot, would take them for £1 each, they then sell them on for shredding, goes onto childrens play areas. need to get the tyres off.Council wanted £5 each. Worth a try at your local tyre depot.

Most tyre places will take the tyres. Last time I asked it was about £2 a carcass.
The place I weigh cars in occasionally will buy alloys with tyres on for £5 a pop.
