If I provide engine and chassis numbers, can anyone provide me with the history of a Traveller I've just bought??? If anyone can help me please e-mail danhughes@cytanet.com.cy
I think the DVLA do a history - Cue Pyoor_Kate, she'll tell you all about it
You might want to have a look at http://morrisminoroc.co.uk/index.php?na ... pic&t=5379

Aye, if you write to 'Fee Paying Enquiries' at the DVLA, enclosing 5 of your shiny earth pounds (usually in cheque form) and a nice letter saying how you wish to trace the history of your car and with details of registration number, and in my case I included the Chassis Number too; you will receive, eventually, a copy of all the V5s of your car (and thus the names and addresses of all the previous owners).
And usually, it'd appear, some random V5 photcopies too.
From this you can trace the order of ownership, and combining this with some kind of directory enquiries tool, you can usually find some of the previous owners; whence you can ring or write to them.....
Also, BL heritage (or whatever they are called) will do you a certificate with the cars details as it was when it left the factory... in exchange for a rather larger sum of money.... http://www.heritage.org.uk/archive/cert ... efault.htm
