Hope something else comes up in Stockport/Manchester

Yep it was a grand day out, loads of fantastic cars, a good wander round the museum with some great exhibits and a trip round Manchester on a old London Routemaster.
Cheers Gaz for the photos of the Leeds Branch cars on the roundabout

Forgive me, slightly off-message but do you know which Routemaster it was (i.e. the reg plate)?

Manchester Corporation had that particular RM vehicle on hire when newish with a view to buying some. The order never materialised, but when the vehicle was pensioned off from London, the Manchester museum, or a local individual, bought it for preservation. That is this particular RM vehicle's link with Manchester.

Thanks for the RM 1414 info. I grew up in London so i will have to look up my old books to see where that RM used to live.
Sorry to miss the event on Sunday. Looking forward to bringing my daily driver Traveller to one in future.
