Morris Minor Owners Club

My Minispares valve guides just arrived. They are longer than the originals I removed. Do I need to shorten them or are they ok as they are? If so does the extra length go into the manifold inlet/exhaust tract or above the head? Thanks for any help.[frame][/frame]

Put the extra length above the head - as long as you have a standard cam, and standard ratio rockers - it will be fine.
