Ignition Light - quick tests

I've a dynamo and the ignition lights stays on after start up- I've also changed the loom- any of you loominaries have any ideas what i should check first-my thanks for an hints.

Was it working OK before the new loom, anything else been changed?
Double check the connections against the wiring diagram and make sure the dynamo brushes are OK.

As above, suspect the new loom ! Try with the dynamo disconnected - is the red light off ok then?

If all wiring checks out... try re-magnetising the dynamo....

Certainly that could be the problem - if you have reversed the battery polarity???
