Has any member bought the Ray Newell book on the ''Traveller ?''
I was pondering buying it purely on the chance that it may cover in detail, timber renewal / replacing window runners etc. ?

There are three chapters dedicated to the timber frame. A very quick perusal reveals window removal covered on pages 85-86, so I'm sure that a bit further on there will be a bit on refitting. In total, pages 82 - 121 are specifically about the frame. The rest of the book is worth reading too 8)

The timber frame section was prepared by Steve Foreman.

I guess he might know a bit about it.

And all the photographs are worth looking at and drooling over. Quality through and through. An aspirational ( or is it inspirational?) book.
