These are CHASSIS plates, NOT Body number plates.
Not any good without a rf60/V5c anyway.
Cannot read the chassis number, would log it.

If you only have the chassis number - is it possible to get hold of the original Reg Number - from either DVLA or Heritage?

Only records dealerships in BMIHT records, I suppose you could check
that dealer's County Records for the regn, possible, yes.
If pre-1965 the b/head had the chassis number stamped in, so an added
problem for those wishing to "cloan" a vehicle. Post '65's are a problem due
to the footwell chassis stamp being prone to rot/replacement.
Doing a V765 atm where the b/head stamp has been mangled.

Not sure WHEN they changed, think it was late '65 when the last body
code series came in.
Cab CODES were NEVER recorded by Cowley nor Add Pk.
Separate codes for 2drs with/without LBM - produced concurrently.
Useful info to know, much more reliable than chassis nos.

My minor saloons' front wings have rust at the back of them where they join to the flitch/hinge area. Is there a repair section available for these as I have searched but can only find inner wing body parts?

Welcome to the messageboard

There isn't a repair panel available for this area - see answers to the same question here:

(ps: best to start a new thread in the relevant forum in future rather than add a message to an existing, unconnected, thread as you are more likely to get an answer)
