Which cars share the same Lucas heater unit the Morris 1000 has? Presumably other BMC cars from the 50s and 60s, but which ones specifically? Trying to broaden my search.

Ours needs upgrading.
Dreadful thing it is.
Hot or off with a very squeaky fan operated by a big wheelie knob thing.

And another recent thread had a link to a Co making new fans for them. As I remember - the old round heater worked well enough - with a winter thermostat in the head, and no fan on the water pump. No 'fresh air' of course - but that's what the quarter lights are for! On later cars that I ran - the heater from an Austin/Morris 1100 was a great thing - enormous heat output. Sadly they seem to be impossible to find these days - but if you do find one - it is a fantastic heater.
