Hi folks. im enquiring at a custom windscreen place about a modern heated type windscreen with the clear heater matrix inside the glass for the series 2 morris minor. Need to do a cad drawing for it and im slightly resizing by a few mm (have read people have done this with success) it so it fits the seals that are on the market at the mo that make fitting the original screen a night mare job!

Just wondered if it was something people were interested in. Ill post prices when i get feedback, but theyd be based on a one off, so if they did a run of them it would be cheaper.

I would be interested. Might be a bit pricey tjhough. Let me know how you get on.

Let me know prices too - although I've just fitted new glass and rubber.

Okay cool, did you go down the getting smaller glass cut route yourself?

No, I got new glass cut to same as old, could have done with being smaller overall as it was a real tight fit, especially as modern toughened is 1mm thicker.
I went for toughened as I don't think laminated would have liked being persuaded to fit
