How do people feel about minors with mudflaps like what all the top parts suppliers sell?
Personally been thinking about getting a set for my series 2 as I think they finish the old fashioned car look off nicely and also reduce spray over the back of the car abit if I get caught in the wet

Any photos of members with them fitted?

Make sure you don't damage the body when fitting them - or create a mud trap under the wing......

Here are a few pictures of some mudflaps on my car before I removed them. I hope they are of some use.

Mudflap's are a superb investment and do protect the car if fitted well... I have recently fitted some on a van and made these and used Iain Mackenzies mouting brackets... if a saloon you will have to make some brackets

Here is a quick photo of the ones on a van

Brilliant thanks guys! Was thinking about fiberglassing a bracket from the wing to the inner wing so if I ever needed to remove it I can jus use a little Dremel if I ever needed to remove the bracket?

I would think fiberglassing would be very likely to create a rust trap. You're probably better off with a bolt-on steel bracket of some kind.

These were held on as stated in the picture, the Mudflap itself was then bolted to the bracket. I have no idea weather this is a good way of mounting mudflaps or not but it was how they were on my car before I took them off.

What made you take them off (or is it just temporary)?
:-?

Mainly due to the wings not being in the best of condition and needing to come off and they would not come off until the mudflaps had been removed.
