I have always cooked the main meal Christmas day and I have found that by using one of these pop up indicators the turkey is always superb!!!!
Last year I could not get hold of one and used the so many minutes per Kg plus so many minutes and was disappointed.
The pop up indicator is available from all good cook shops.[frame][/frame][frame][/frame]

This year I followed the Nigella Lawson cookbook, although it did proove
difficult when I was flying with the multicolour hamsters fromhe divine
island of peace and contentment.

Roast Turkey is sacred on Zytyder.

Yes I did think about Nigella!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but instead consumed the obligatory half bottle of Bristol Cream Sherry whilst cooking. Ended up on the same planet though###########. Anyway the Christmas dinner turned out superb again. Now got to eat my way through the bubble and squeak. Anyone for turkey/turkey curry/turkey stew/turkey mince will it ever end?

If I had a choice between Nigella's iced buns and lardy cakes it would be lardy cakes every time. And if you want a champion winning lardy cake you cannot do better than purchase from Marshalls Bakery Pewsey http://www.marshallsbakery.co.uk. their lardy cakes are right out of this world!!!!!!!
