Bull Motif sell them for £48.90 +vat + p&p - discount, ESM £49.90 +vat+p&p No discount, The club sells this item but the list doesn`t give a price, How do i get a price from the club, by phone, email or can i ask online ? As you can guess i havn`t bought any spares from the club yet. Thanks.

You can contact Bryan Gostling (club spares) via the phone number or e-mail address in Minor Matters. Alternatively send a personal message to username sparesman as he visits here quite often.

I would check just WHO has made the master cylinders sold by the two above Companies. MOSS sell a Lockheed master cylinder for almost twice that price -and there is probably a good reason why they charge more......

Because they are more expensive? :-? Both the ESM and Bull Motif maste cylinders say they are genuine Lockheed.

With the Minor suppliers I usually open up three separate screens or tabs and fill up a basket for each supplier.

I've found the advertised price is a complete bumstear, so having three shopping baskets adding up the vat and postage before I buy, gives me a proper comparison.

Provided you avoid the word "pattern" you'll be okay with the master cylinders you have listed.

In answer to your question, I don't think you will find club spares as cheap as you would imagine, by all means try though! esm have served me ok over the years and stuff arrives quick.

The club spares price for a Mastercylinder was £55 plus postage of £6 = £61 This is not a bad price as ESM and BULL MOTIF you have to spend £60 before vat ect. So i have ordered one from the club, not looking forward to fitting it though.

I followed this guide when I replaced mine 2 years ago.

The most difficult part was bleeding the brakes after fitting the M/C, The best tip I can give is to start bleeding the brakes from the nearest wheel to the M/C, once you get pressure in the brake lines it is then easy to bleed.
