Hi all
This picture of my own 1950 MM on the right, the green one. This I purchased 3-4 years ago, had the engine rebuilt, sorted out the rest myself, all recon brakes, cleaned underneath and Dynitrol sprayed, new front tyres etc etc. It needs a respray but this will wait for a couple of years whilst we have some fun in it.
The black car belongs to Geoff Wilcox and lives about 5 miles away, both cars to the south of Maidstone.
Thought his might you all up whilst the weather is cold and wet??[frame]Image[/frame
This is the first time I have managed to upload pictures, hoping for the best!!

What a nice pair of MMs. Classy, and yes, they do brighten up a very wet day and evening.

My tourer is a '51, one of the early high headlight cars, but still with a short bonnet.

Don't you just love' em!

Nice convertibles :)
The blue one's presumably a Dorset car, my '58 was LPR 806 and came from a dealership there ;)

The blue/green car spent all its life in Suffolk, I bought it from a chap in Felixstow. I have all the Mot certs from 1965 on and it has been off the road for 20 years until last july. The engine was seized, water in a bore and has been fully rebuilt with sleeves back to original sizes.

Why did I read that as "Pair of Trousers in Kent?"

I remember seeing it in the 1980s when I had a Thames Blue saloon XMY846 which we took on the annual Ipswich - Felixstowe runs . Then it never appeared again and I couldnt find out where it was.

That 's really interesting. The last MOT expired 1992 and in the last few years it did only a few hundred miles each year. One of the gudgeon pins had been loose and had scored the bore badly. Maybe this contributed to the low miles?? From 1965 it was MOT'd in Saxmundham, then after 1980 in Woodbridge and then just twice in Ipswich after 1989. So very local in the South Suffolk area.
You didn't take any pictures by any chance when you saw it in the 80s ?
thank you for the comment
