Had some work done and completed last week (45 miles from here) and they were absolutely fantastic and helpful.
Not particularly cheap, but it depends on what you want I suppose.

Moggy specialist btw, so from the mileage from here, and in an easterly direction, make your own minds up where and who they are.

Moggsy has been transformed, and is absolutely beautiful to drive now. :P

It would be counter productive if a site to help moggie owners or would be owners ,NOT to be able to name and praise after all I've never heard of some one to get upset if you say nice things about them.
Praise often does much more, than criticism, to raise standards :D

It always makes me happy(I seem to remember :( )

You simply tell us the true story - and by all means name the Company involved. It's only POOR service we are not allowed to report - crazy as it may seem.......

For goodness sake, Iv'e never heard such crap! This forum is sometimes just up itself!
How can it be advertising as advertising is done by the company. It's RECOMENDATION a time honoured method of getting value and satisfaction!
As the forum chiefs always say you can't name & shame because of any come back legally to them, who ever heard of a company sueing someone for reccomending them. So just grow up!

45 Miles east of Wirral is probably Millenium minors in Manchester. I believe it's the workshops of G.S.Jones

Yes, there's absolutely no problem with providing positive comments, praise, recommendations etc. It would only be considered trade advertising if you were the trader / company concerned or acting on behalf of the trader / company. Hope that clarifies the matter :D

I thought we were in the season of goodwill to all men - hopefully this will also extend to other forum members who are just seeking clarification about something :-?

I wonder if this will get an airing or be deleted well here goes I went to see a "Restored" traveller at the beginning of this year which was advertised on this forum I took a day off work, and some 175 miles later I spent 10 minutes out of politeness looking at the car and was shown pictures of the "Restoration" at a Manchester "specialist" and left without purchasing the car !

I can only vouch for the work they carried out as per my request, and the friendly helpful politeness of the service provided by this Father and Son operation.

Soz again. Feel bad now.

Anyway.....http://www.morrisminorworld.com/

Martin and Paul.

I was recommended to them by a guy I met at Erdwig classic car show in October, who purchased a fully retored from the ground up woody.
Absolutely magnificent it was, and formerly a cat C right off too. (front wing and suspension damage)

Excellen helpful service and a showing of care and interest is what impressed me the most.
Bit pricey,(but we always say that) but that's the way it is if you want work doing by someone who IS actually in business to pay for everything that we all go to work for.
That's the way the world goes around.
