Is it true the rebound clips for the leaf springs are unobtainium?

I'll be refurbing the 5-leaf springs from my 1098 next weekend, but on inspection, two of the clips are beyond practical use. One is stress fractured across the retaining tab, the other is split completely. In either case I'll need to replace. If they're not obtainable, I'll probably fabricate something.

I've measured the leaves and clips. For anyone who needs to know, the leaves are 1-1/2" across, and the clevis of the clips is about 13/16" to clamp the 3 leaves in my 5 spring sets.

Does anybody know where these clips - or equivalents from other vehicles - may be available new?

Looking to get the springs back in a few weeks so want to overhaul them before then. This will never be a top end car, just a dependable Sunday driver so I don't plan to fit new springs. Simply looking to break them apart, rub the leaves back to bare metal, coat them in PTFE paint and reassemble. Has anybody made/found/procured the same or similar clips for reassembling 5-leaf springs. Can't seem to find them listed anywhere.

Most people just make them out of heavy strip metal.

Whilst they are not original style/type this type (see link below) of clamp is more than adequate and easy to make. Years ago I had them on my Minor and they held the spring together and as aside they do help to eliminate axle tramp. Ride can be adjusted by varying the torque of the clamp bolts. You can rivet them in place to stop them moving backwards or forwards by using the existing rivet holes in the bottom leaf

My first thoughts following MarkyB's post was to make up some thick steel strips similar to those on Land Rovers and bend them round, which I assume is what most people must be doing anyway?
