Where to cut

Post by Trafalgar blue »

Can anyone give me a measurement so I can cut the bottom of the panel to the rear of my 2 door do I can gain access to the sill. The section looks ok so I'm hopeing to re-use it, but if it do need replacing I don't want to cut the panel too high. Thanks

Not sure what you mean, have you removed the door step (sloped part)?
These should be held on with bolts along the bottom edge and self tapping screws on the top.

With the step off you can see the sill structure.

Do you mean the external rear 1/4 panel / wing in front of the rear wheel.if so look inside to see how high to cut if you are reusing it or buy a replacement panel and see where to cut as you may have to replace the wing section anyway.
